Hawzah News Agency- Imam Sadiq (pbuh) said:
إِذَا ذُكِرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، فَأَكْثِرُوا الصَّلَاةَ عَلَيْهِ؛ فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ صَلَّىٰ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَاةً وَاحِدَةً، صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ أَلْفَ صَلَاةٍ فِي أَلْفِ صَفٍّ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ، وَلَمْ يَبْقَ شَيْءٌ مِمَّا خَلَقَهُ اللَّهُ إِلَّا صَلَّىٰ عَلَى الْعَبْدِ لِصَلَاةِ اللَّهِ وَصَلَاةِ مَلَائِكَتِهِ، فَمَنْ لَمْ يَرْغَبْ فِي هَذَا فَهُوَ جَاهِلٌ مَغْرُورٌ قَدْ بَرِئَ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ وَرَسُولُهُ وَأَهْلُ بَيْتِهِ.
When the Prophet (pbuh) is mentioned, increase your prayers (salawat) upon him. For indeed, whoever sends one blessing upon the Prophet, Allah sends a thousand blessings upon him in a thousand ranks of angels. There is nothing in Allah’s creation that does not also pray for that servant due to the prayer of Allah and His angels. Therefore, whoever does not desire this ignorant, arrogant man from whom Allah, His Messenger, and his family (Ahlul-Bayt) have disowned themselves.
